Settler's Park on Friday

Is anyone interested in going to Settler's Park on Friday?  They turn on the water around 11:00 so I was going to be there about 11:00 and bring a picnic lunch.  Hope to see you then.

Lost and Found...

The water party was a hit! A few items were left behind though... I found a blue and white striped towel and a plain white towel. I think Jena had a white towel, but this one wasn't hers, so maybe someone accidently took hers? Call me if either one is yours. Thanks!

Kid's 4th of July Parade

July 4th at 10 AM, North Park in Hazelwood

Decorate your bike, stroller, riding lawn mower or golf cart with steamers, flags or balloons and meet at the North Park for the 1st Annual Hazelwood 4th of July Parade. We will go from Goldenspire to Rising Sun Way to Hazelwood Drive to Olmstead Avenue and end at the park. Popsicles will be served after the parade at the park.

Lunch @ Cassia Park

I and my kids are going to the free lunch at Cassia park today. It is off Orchard St. on Camas. Come join us if you would like. Not sure what time it starts but I know it goes till 1pm. We will be there sometime around 12:30-12:45pm. See you there.

nash pool swimming

hey ladies. no swimming this week. my filters not working. pool boy is coming later this week, so we should be good for sometime next week. i'll post on here once i know my agenda, which for those who know me is usually very last minute, but hey that's how i roll.

Girls Night Out on WEDNESDAY!

Soul Surfer is playing at Overland Park Cinema at 7:30. (Sorry that is the latest showtime) It's $4 for a movie ticket and 2 food items! Leave me a comment if you can make it!

LUCKY PEAK on Monday

I'm going to Lucky Peak (Sandy Point Beach) on Monday, June 27th. I'm gonna pack a lunch and spend the day there. I think it's $4 or $5 for parking. I like to park away from the fountain. There is more shaded parking over there. It's by the docks and restroom. I should be there around 10:30 or 11. I will bring my big umbrella. It is a creme color with light purple flowers.
